What is Eroxon® and how does it work?

What is Eroxon®? Eroxon® is a topical gel for the treatment of erectile dysfunction which is clinically proven to help men get an erection within 10 minutes.

How does Eroxon® work? Eroxon® is a topical gel that has a unique physical evaporative action which, through a rapid cooling and then warming effect, stimulates nerve endings on the head of the penis, leading to increased blood flow and stronger erections.

Who can use Eroxon®? Eroxon® is suitable for adult men who have erectile dysfunction.

Where can I purchase Eroxon®? You can purchase Eroxon® in-person from a pharmacy in certain countries or online in Europe. It will become available in further European countries in due course.

How long does Eroxon® work for? It lasts long enough for successful sex to occur in around 65% of people. After sex your erection will naturally subside, as it usually would.

Is Eroxon® clinically proven? Yes, Eroxon® has been certified (under EU Regulation 2017/745 - the “MDR”) as a Class 2 medical device, intended to be used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. As a CE-marked medical device, it meets the safety, health and environmental protection requirements of the EU, including clinically proven efficacy. Eroxon® may be marketed throughout Europe. It is also approved in the UK as a Class 2 medical device with a UKCA mark.

How much gel is there in one tube of Eroxon®? Each tube dispenses sufficient gel for a single dose, approximately 0.3ml; a pea-sized amount.

How to use Eroxon®

How do I use Eroxon®? As you start to have sex, use a single tube of Eroxon® – a ‘pea-sized’ amount of gel – and massage onto the head of the penis for around 15 seconds.

Is sexual stimulation necessary for Eroxon® to work? Yes, and is often used as part of foreplay.

How often can I use Eroxon®? One single-dose tube is intended for a single intercourse attempt. However, there is no restriction on how many times you can use Eroxon® per day.

Is Eroxon® safe for oral sex? Eroxon® is safe for use with oral sex.

Is Eroxon® compatible with condoms and lubricants? Tests have shown Eroxon® is compatible with latex condoms. It can also be used with sexual lubricants.

Partner questions

Can I involve my partner in using Eroxon®? Eroxon® is unique in giving your partner the chance to be actively involved in treatment. Your partner can apply the gel directly to the head of your penis, massaging it for 15 seconds.

Does Eroxon® contain any spermicidal ingredients? No, Eroxon® does not contain any spermicidal ingredients. You will have to use your normal choice of contraception while using Eroxon® .

Can I use Eroxon® if we are trying to conceive? Yes, Eroxon® doesn’t have any impact on fertility.

Can Eroxon® cause irritation for the partner? It is unlikely that Eroxon® will cause any side effects for the partner. Clinical trials have shown a very low incidence of side effects in both men and their partners.
